After winning second place in the Tufts Business Plan Competition, co-founders Jennifer Rosenfeld and Julia Torgovitskaya launched iCadenza with the mission to empower musicians to grow their careers without sacrificing their other dreams. A year later, they started an artist management agency, Cadenza Artists, which now represents a wide variety of music, dance, and multidisciplinary projects.
iCadenza empowers leaders and organizational teams to develop a collaborative, innovative, and efficient working environment. Jennifer inspires a culture of innovation using her training from Nancy Kline’s Time to Think method. Julia encourages an entrepreneurial mindset using her training in the Blanchard Companies model.
They have worked with arts organizations such as KUSC Radio Group and KDFC, guiding senior staff members to break through usual thought patterns to get to fresh ideas. iCadenza has also hosted workshops at Opera America, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Chamber Music America, Arts Northwest, DePaul University, California State University Fullerton, and San Francisco Opera.
Jennifer and Julia self-published the book Awakening Your Business Brain: An iCadenza Guide to Launching your Music Career. The book provides creative professionals with in-depth career tips, as well as case studies that reveal why some musicians succeed faster than others.
